The battery carries a limited 2 year warranty on parts and labour.
Long term storage require the use of a lithium battery tender as per the BMW owner manual.
Fully discharging the battery due to user error such as leaving the ignition on for hours is not covered but can be repaired.
Batteries are guaranteed to exceed the 850CCA rating at delivery. A copy of the serialized testing slip before shipping is included.
Those batteries may stop operating if involved in a serious crash. It's a safety feature and not a defect.
Overheating the battery can cause irreversible damage to the lithium cell and cause a fire; the battery has internal protections for this.
Motorsport usage is not covered by the warranty.
Opening the battery damage the weatherproof seals and will void the warranty as a result.


There are no refunds on batteries; only warranty exchanges or repairs.
Encoding of the vehicle DME is required for the "Battery fault'' message to go away from the dashboard, even once the new battery is fitted.
