BMW ELV Steering lock Bypass module

On the E60, early E90 and many Mini R56 the electronic steering lock fails, leaving the car inoperable.
This bypass will allow the car to start again once plugged in and the fault reset.

If the steering lock is stuck in the locked position, you will still need to disengage it manually.
