iDRIVE 4 to iDRIVE6 Flash upgrade with CarPlay

Upon ordering this, you will get access to a download link to get all the data needed on your laptop (WINDOWS 10 and 11 only !) to perform the flash and we will get in touch to schedule you an appointment with one of our technicians.

Our technician will connect to your laptop while it is connected to the car with the ENET cable. All you have to do will be to cycle the ignition as needed. Flashing takes about 1h, and the whole process usually around 1h30. You will also need a charger to keep the battery at a proper level during the process.

After the flash, your car will have Fullscreen CarPlay, be able to play Video in motions, active phone screen mirroring (both android and iphones), the SiriusXM receiver will be enabled as well as the BMW apps (if not previously equipped). Your car will keep all the previously enabled removed services from BMW as well.

You will also have to wire-in the Wi-Fi antenna for the carplay communicatio.
